There is a famous quote from 1627, written during a terribly bloody time in European history, The Thirty Years War, which reads as follows: “In essentials, unity. In non-essentials, liberty. In all things, charity.” This statement has shaped the thinking and practice of many Christians down through the centuries and it needs to continue to shape our lives as believers today. We are called to be guardians of the unity of the Spirit. We are to be passionate about preserving the peace that God has created in Christ. Come as we will humbly consider this high calling for each and every Christian. Let's worship together!
