February 16, 2020 "Monumental Hope in a World Gone Mad"

This Sunday’s message is from Genesis 6. It is called, "Monumental Hope in a World Gone Mad". All of us have the tendency or temptation to wonder what God is up to or where God is when the evil in the world seems to dominate everything everywhere. If our focus is on the world and not on God and His Word, we can get pretty discouraged.

However, when we see things biblically, the mission of God gains traction and urgency in a world of increasing evil precisely because we know that our God cannot sit idle and do nothing. His nature guarantees that things must be made right. His promise guarantees that things will be made right.
